- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

TERIYAKI PEANUT TOFU
- 1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, cubed
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil or coconut oil
- To make the teriyaki peanut sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Pan-fry tofu in a skillet.

- 2 tbsp Cornflour, mixed with water
Stir Fry Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil, or cooking oil of your choice
- 1 cup Vegan Chicken or Meat Replacement of your choice
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, Deseeded & cut fine
- Handful Baby Corn, sliced down the middle
- 1 Red Onion, sliced fine
- 1 Carrot, sliced fine

- Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan without the cornstarch mix and reduce for about 5-6 minutes.
- Add in cornstarch slurry and bring to a boil. The sauce is done in a minute!

- Cook the vegan chicken for a minute or so then stir fry with the vegetables.

Sushi is something you don’t usually see in a vegan recipe list but we’ve found a recipe for it. Make these yummy vegan California and teriyaki tofu sushi from One Green Planet for your next cocktail party.
For the Filling:
- 1/4 cup roasted red pepper (you could probably use un-roasted red pepper, too)
- 2 teaspoons vegan mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup tofu
- 1 sheet of nori (the sushi seaweed)
- 1/2 cup prepared sushi rice
- 2-3 1/2 inch strips of avocado
- 2-3 1/4 inch strips of raw cucumber (optional)
For the Teriyaki Tofu:
- 4 ounces tofu (about a third of a 12 ounces package), sliced into 1-inch strips
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (make sure to get gluten-free if you are avoiding gluten)
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 inch square of ginger, chopped
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- To make the filling, blend red pepper, mayo, and tofu in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Roll sushi. At the base, lay a sheet of nori and spread rice on top of it. Add a spread of your red pepper mixture and top with avocado and cucumber.

- Bake for about 30 minutes, turning halfway through until browned and crispy.
- Stir 1/4 cup of water, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sherry, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger together.
In a saucepan, let the sauce simmer.
- Add cornstarch slurry and let the sauce thicken for a bit.
- Remove the pot from the heat.
- Coat tofu in teriyaki sauce after baking and serve with rice and steamed veggies.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions then serve.
#10. Asian-Inspired Cauliflower Wings

To Make the Sauce:
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
- 1 cup gluten-free tamari sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup orange (juice)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic, grated
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of arrowroot (mixed with 1/3 cup orange juice)
- 3 tablespoons scallions
To Make the Cauliflower:
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 cup gluten-free bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 scallion sliced (garnish)
- Combine and heat sauce ingredients in a saucepan except for the arrowroot-orange juice mixture.
- Stir combination together and bring to a boil.
- Stir together the arrowroot and orange juice until it dissolves in a separate bowl.
- Slowly integrate juice into the boiling sauce, and continue to mix for 1 minute.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-5 minutes in low-medium heat until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and cool before pouring into a jar.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- Cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine almond milk, flour, and optional oil in a large bowl.
- Coat cauliflower in batter and then sprinkle with bread crumbs.
- Bake for 15minutes and toss in teriyaki sauce.
- Top with sesame seeds and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until cauliflower is tender-crisp.
